When Alex Neil's Preston North End reign started with a win over Sheffield Wednesday

Preston North appointed Alex Neil as their manager in 2017 after the departure of Simon Grayson to Sunderland.

Neil had already won promotion from the Championship with Norwich City and he started off life in PR1 well.scoring from the spot to earn North End all three points.
