A low pressure system near the Ohio River will throw some scattered rain showers at Indiana from the mid-morning to the mid-afternoon. An isolated storm is possible.INDIANA, USA — After a really nice first weekend of May, this coming week will be unsettled with multiple rounds of rain and storms, with sunshine in between. Another 1-3 inches of rain will be possible by next weekend.
Our first round of rain will be weak. Expect scattered showers moving into Indiana on Monday morning from south to north. Up to a tenth of an inch is possible, so not much.Monday will be the start of an unsettled week. Scattered light showers are likely Monday, followed by scattered rain and storms Tuesday and Wednesday. Some of the thunderstorms will like turn severe, especially if the boundaries swing the storms in during the afternoon and evening during max heating.
After 8 a.m., rain showers will fill in across the rest of the state. It will likely not rain constantly. Expect on-and-off light rain for the rest of the morning and into the early afternoon.The rain will likely be most widespread across central Indiana between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. By 4-6 p.m., there may be a lingering stray shower or downpour, but the majority of the rain should be exiting Indiana and heading into Ohio.WTHR would like to send you push notifications about the latest news and weather.
