Liverpool may have won the Premier League, but there’s one unofficial title, however, that’s escaped the nation’s attention: that of best-dressed manager
Even if you’re no football fan, it would have been hard to avoid the news this week that, after 30 years of hurt, Liverpool have won the Premier League. There’s one unofficial title, however, that’s escaped the nation’s attention: that of best-dressed manager. And, sartorially speaking, the current Reds leader, Jürgen Klopp, who has masterminded four trophy wins in the last year is on top of the world.Seriously.
The Reds manager isn’t seen in public without his glasses – they are for him what Manolo Blahnik heels are to Anna Wintour. They and the cap remained in place for the most monumental moment of Klopp’s career – tearfully acknowledging what Liverpool’s title win meant to him and to the city live from a hotel on Sky Sports. Still dressing like one of the fans, he swapped his usual, straight-out-of-the-club-superstore tracksuit/coat/snood of various colours with a red replica jersey.
