The roundabout with Hennel Lane was shut due to the police incident
The A6 in Walton-le-Dale was closed for around four hours yesterday afternoon following a 'concern for welfare' incident.
South Ribble Police initially posted on Facebook saying: " We want to update you and let you know that A6 London Way, Walton-Le-Dale is currently closed near the roundabout with B6230 Hennel Lane due to a concern for welfare. We anticipate that the road will be closed for some time, whilst we assess the situation."In the meantime, we’d recommend looking for an alternative route and driving carefully, leaving plenty of extra time to get to your destination.
