Broadchurch and Two Pints of Lager star Will Mellor has opened up about the death of his beloved sister, Joanne, who passed away at the age of 44.
Will Mellor has opened up about the heartache he still feels over the loss of his sister, Joanne, who passed away 12 years ago at the age of 44.
Despite taking legal action, Will found no solace in the courts, feeling that more could have been done to help Joanne. "We took him to court and they ruled that because she had a disability her heart had an issue anyway, so we couldn't prove that was exactly what had happened. But she died in fear because of that."
Will also opened up about the grief he experienced following the death of his father Bill, who died in April 2020 just weeks after a cancer diagnosis and amidst the onset of harsh Coronavirus restrictions.
