The 25-year-old from Co Down, aided by his co-driver Liam Regan, won the championship by eight points
William Creighton has become the first Irish driver since the late Craig Breen to be crowned the FIA Junior WRC champion.
Emulating the achievement of 2011 champion Breen, Creighton claimed 34 stage wins across the 2023 championship and won the rounds in Sweden and Italy.And Breen, who tragically died following a crash in a pre-test event ahead of Croatia Rally in April, was in Creighton's thoughts as he celebrated his victory.
"We all go rallying to have fun and what happened to him is so sad. I've definitely been thinking about him."
