Last month, at Hamilton Sheriff Court, Peter Duffy pleaded guilty to an amended charge to obtaining £5,800 by fraud.
A Wishaw conman who admitted defrauding a friend out of more than £5000 of cash has been told to pay all of the money back.

Before passing sentence, Sheriff Louise Gallacher expressed concern at comments made by Duffy to a social worker compiling background reports.
