'Oh no. This was a real bonus and asset to have locally' 😢

Fyne Shellfish Shawlands, on Springhill Gardens, announced its closure via social media yesterday.A post on Facebook read:"Hi Everyone. You will be aware we have been in limbo with the shop the last few weeks. With all the pros and cons, staff, parking, rising costs, fish stall at market, and no time to ourselves, we have decided to call it a day for now.

"The shop was never about money, it was about bringing what we catch from our boats from Tarbert Loch Fyne to Glasgow at an affordable price and to let people know what’s there in the Clyde unlike what the media portray." Another added:"No way! I’m so sorry! You were a hidden gem, always plenty of excellent, sometimes exotic stock at amazing prices."
