At around 2.20am on Sunday officers received a report of a woman being approached by a man on Garthland Lane in Paisley. The suspect allegedly acted in a suspicious manner before becoming aggressive.

At around 2.20am on Sunday, August 25, officers received a report of a woman being approached by a man in Garthland Lane, Paisley. The suspect allegedly acted in a suspicious manner before becoming aggressive towards the woman. A 45-year-old man has since been arrested and charged in connection with the incident. He has been released on an undertaking and is due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court at a later date.
