READ MORE: Urgent calls for closure of Paisley homeless accommodation motel before 'someone is killed' "In December 2016 I had a catheter fitted in my lower abdomen and the following year I was diagnosed with Fowlers Syndrome, a rare condition that causes urinary retention in women mainly between the ages of 20 to 30."Tia, who is too sick to work, continued: "I spent the next several years mostly bed-bound or in hospital due to chronic infections and severe pain.
"It's now been two years since I had my stoma and I'm managing it great now but sadly the infections are still a major problem with around three infections in my kidney per month."
