A 31-year-old woman and two girls aged 8 and 10 were taken to hospital with life threatening injuries after emergency services were called to a property in Huddersfield at 2.24am today. The adult woman died from her injuries while the two girls remain in critical condition, West Yorkshire Police said.
Detective Chief Inspector James Entwistle said: ‘Our thoughts go out to everyone affected by this tragic incident. ‘Specially trained officers are supporting the family.
