A woman was rushed to hospital after she was reportedly pushed down a flight of stairs by one man before being hit in the head by another. Officers were called to an address in Anfield just after 4.20pm yesterday to a report of a domestic assault. The victim, a woman in her 20s, was taken to hospital for treatment for a laceration to the head.
Officers who attended this report have made two swift arrests and the victim is receiving the full support of specialist officers. “We are determined to put domestic abuse offenders before the courts and protect vulnerable people across Merseyside.
