A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 7.45am on Tuesday, 31 October, 2023, police were alerted to a road traffic collision involving a female pedestrian and a car in Woodside Street, Coatbridge. "Emergency services attended and a woman has been taken to the QEUH. Old Monkland Road, Viewfield Road and Woodside Street are closed."
