After leaving her birthday celebration, A Uniontown woman, 23, lost control of her vehicle 2:30 a.m. June 29 in Bainbridge Township.
Dispatch sent police 2:35 a.m. June 29 to the site where a car reportedly struck a tree. Arriving officers found the car off the road and spun around next to a homeowner’s deck. The driver, a 23-year-old from Uniontown, was out of the vehicle and stumbling. Her vehicle struck a guardrail, which redirected it across all lanes to the opposite side where it drove through a split rail fence.
Video surveillance confirmed the employee’s suspicions and the subject admitted to stealing 23 items. Charged with theft, he will face Chardon Municipal Court.A Chagrin Falls man, 43, told police he is “an airhead” and “didn’t mean to do anything wrong,” after he was caught stealing items twice in the same day, June 29. Caught and detained by store security at 11 p.m. he, at first, refused to provide his personal information after he was caught with seven items valued at $108.52.
