Police are investigating after a woman’s body was found in a wheelie bin A woman has been found dead inside a wheelie bin near a block of flats in north London. The body was discovered by a member of the public at around 9am on Thursday near Golders Green. Police and paramedics were called to the Harpenmead Point building in Granville Road but she was confirmed dead at the scene. Her death is being treated as ‘unexpected and unexplained’, Scotland Yard said, and an investigation is ongoing.

A wider cordon has been put in place following the incident.
