Are you a woman that wants to run your own company? Are you worried about some of the challenges you might face? Where can you find role models? How can you build a network?
Viewed more than 5,000 times, the video saw the experts explore their business journeys, talk about lessons learned along the way, the support they were able to access, and what advice they would give other women thinking of becoming their own boss. Pam nodded: "You need to create that mindset of self-belief. That's a really important starting point.
Mandy said: "Scotland is blessed with a very busy and mature ecosystem with lots of networking groups so do a bit of research in your local community. You need to test as many groups as you can. "You need to understand at the start of your journey how much risk you're willing to take and where you're going to draw the line so you don't get sucked in along the way."
Pam said: "I prefer to talk about maintaining balance at home and at work, as opposed to work and then life because hopefully, we are living very well as we are working. "You need to focus on your relationship with your family and the people around you because they're going to be your support network as you go through your journey.
