The incident was first reported by police at around 4pm this afternoon . It is yet not clear how many cars are involved or what injuries, if any, have been sustained as a result.A spokesperson for police said: “We want to update you and let you know that Woodplumpton Road, Ashton on Ribble is currently closed due to a road traffic collision.
