Works are set to be carried out to address issues surrounding the “acoustics” at Dargavel Primary School in Bishopton in the summer holidays.
Planned improvements at the facility in Arrochar Drive are expected to take a “number of weeks” – meaning they will need to be done during the longer break to avoid disruption.confirmed this was down to the “intrusive nature” of the works and apologised to parents and carers for the delay.
“Because of the intrusive nature of the works, this timescale is intended to minimise any potential on-site disruption to pupils. We have updated the parent council. It’s not the first time changes have been made at the site after three modular buildings, containing six classrooms, were introduced during the recent summer break.
