The crash occurred near US-60 and Idaho Road around 10:45 p.m. on April 6. DPS said a vehicle was traveling east on the westbound ramp, hitting the DPS unit vehicle head-on. The driver of the vehicle that hit the DPS trooper was arrested and is facing charges of aggravated DUI and endangerment.
