All Elite WrestlingPunk, who is one of the most outspoken figures in the industry, announced his retirement later that year and was then involved in a long-running legal dispute against WWE doctor Chris Amann.
A nine-minute video was posted on their YouTube channel on November 25, a year on from Punk's return. He also shared a long hug with Kofi Kingston, admitting he didn't expect to see his former tag team partner backstage.
