Hundreds of complaints about Yorkshire's health trusts have been made to the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman in the past year.
Across the country, 28,780 complaints were submitted to the ombudsman about NHS services in 2023-24, marking a five per cent increase from 27,441 the preceding year. A significant portion of these were resolved following an initial or primary investigation, while 840 were accepted for a comprehensive investigation.
