A MasterChef contestant has shared her simple recipe for making peanut butter at home, with two ingredients that you probably already have in your kitchen cupboard
MasterChef contestant Hope Batchelor took to social media to share the recipe, encouraging people to stop splashing out on pricey supermarket versions.
Hope, who hails from Buckinghamshire, was a participant in the 20th series of MasterChef in 2024, where she secured a tenth-place finish. The title was won by veterinary surgeon Brin Pirathapan this year. In a TikTok video posted in June, she revealed that she's been whipping up her own peanut butter for years, creating a whole jar that can last quite a while, reports the Mirror. Hope stated: “If you’re a lover of more whole, natural peanut butter rather than something that’s got a bit more sugar in it - so as delicious as Skippy is - I prefer the ones like Plants by Deliciously Ella.
“Actually that was what made me realised I could make this myself. I was obsessed with Plants by Deliciously Ella’s Peanut Butter that she sells in Waitrose.
