The 1982 Westland Lynx sleeps up to four people and comes complete with a fridge, microwave and private decking
The helicopter was formerly owned by the British Army and served in the Middle East and Kosovo. But now, after being retired from military service, it has been landed at a holiday park on the outskirts of Blackpool .
Grounded at the Ream Hills site in Weeton, a night in the Army veteran costs £175 a night. Two adults can sleep in a specially designed double bunk in the rear tail while two children can bed down on a pull-out sofa. Guests even receive a special certificate to show off to their friends.Ream Hills describes the helicopter as offering an "incredibly unique and unforgettable experience".
