The actor certainly seemed like a social butterfly as he happily posed for a group photo with several attendees including what looked to be a group of dancers Efron had been medically cleared by doctors, but took his time departing the medical facility after a group of photographers in the area had learned he was there and congregated outside.
Efron's representative confirmed to the outlet that the actor was hospitalized 'as a precautionary measure' following the 'minor' incident and is 'recovering just fine;' as he was released from the hospital on Saturday morning.Efron's representative was asked why he needed to be hospitalized if the issue was merely a minor one; in reply, the rep once again stated the hospital visit was just a precaution.
The actor has past shared his experiences participating in extreme sports, including dives, via his social media accounts. He says this explains why he looked so different at the time.
