Scots actress Karen Gillan and her husband Nick Kocher have announced the birth of their baby daughter, Clementine.
She looks every inch the glowing new mother as she cradles her baby in her arms. Scots actress Karen Gillan last night shared the first glimpse of her baby daughter Clementine with her legion of followers on social media. The Jumanji star, 37 and her husband Nick Kocher , 38, took to Instagram to share a sequence of images of themselves at home with the new baby. The Inverness-born actress is seen cuddling Clementine , whilst Mr Kocher is pictured cradling his tiny daughter.
A third image shows the couple sitting together and Mr Kocher holding a ‘Best Dad Ever’ mug. Ms Gillan announced her pregnancy at the Toronto International Film Festival in September 2024. She debuted her baby bump on the red carpet while promoting her film The Life of Chuck. Recently, she was spotted in Los Angeles taking her newborn for a walk in a grey pushchair, although the name and gender were not revealed at the time. In 2018, Ms Gillan revealed her desire to eventually have children. Appearing on Michael Rosenbaum’s Inside of You podcast, she said: ‘I definitely want them, it’s going to be hilarious. I think I would be a good mum.
