Cooper, who has a dairy allergy, discovered cheese on top of the chili despite the label making no mention of dairy, leading to an allergic reaction. Cooper stated she started sneezing, thankfully avoiding a full-blown reaction by not consuming the chili. The owner, Sammy Nussdorf, later personally addressed the issue, inviting Cooper back to the store, offering a refund, and allowing her to select other items, allegedly due to a labeling error. Nussdorf, from a family listed on the Forbes Rich List, has invested 17 months in promoting Meadow Lane, drawing heavily on his social media presence. The store's name is inspired by 'billionaire lane' in the Hamptons.
