Zinnwald Lithium has been granted a permit to construct an exploration tunnel to access the Zinnwald ore body that underpins the Zinnwald Lithium project. This, the company said, is an important step in the ongoing de-risking of the project, enabling the collection of valuable data to inform future design and development planning.
It means the project meets the technical and regulatory requirements to successfully obtain the necessary permits from the Saxon Mining Authority. The tunnel, of 1km length, starts from a portal located at the brownfield site of the former Zinnwald Border Station, adjacent to the federal highway B170 between the villages of Zinnwald and Altenberg.
Shares were at 5.82p.URU Metals has completed a ground-based gravity survey over priority targets at the Zeb Nickel Project, with results demonstrating strong correlation with previously identified airborne electromagnetic and magnetic anomalies, it said. The gravity survey was completed over Targets 1 and 2, previously identified as the highest-priority anomalies from the Spectrem airborne electromagnetic survey. Shares were at 6.02p.Kazera Global shared recent progress across its South African heavy mineral sands operations and broader project portfolio.
The company continues to engage with the relevant regulatory authorities within South Africa in relation to the award of the 2A Mining Right at Alexander Bay, a key milestone in unlocking the next phase of scale within the HMS operation, the company said. It added that Kazera has continued to advance discussions with a preferred potential strategic partner in relation to its HMS operations at Whale Head Minerals.
ECR Minerals provided an update on its projects, including the proposed Paleogold Transactions, which form part of ECR's proposed Acquisition of Paleogold Limited. The company updated on Paleogold, Maddens, and Raglan. Shares were at 0.26p.Talisman Metals has completed an initial field sampling programme at its recently acquired Tirzzit copper-silver project in Morocco, targeting lateral continuity and thickness across a 700m strike length of outcropping mineralisation.
The campaign included 7 channel samples and 38 trench samples, now submitted for assay, with work focused on confirming historical Cu-Ag grades and identifying thicker intervals within a 1–5m mineralised horizon exposed at surface. The programme builds on historically identified mineralised horizons extending over 4.6km.
Follow-up work will expand channel sampling along strike, test historical adits, and map lower limestone units to identify additional gossan targets ahead of a planned drill programme aimed at testing extensions and revisiting previously missed mineralisation. Beowulf announced that the consortium formed for the NordicPipe project will continue work on the project but has withdrawn from the European Institute of Innovation and Technology funding programme.
As announced on 18 March 2026, the consortium, led by Jokkmokk Iron, was conditionally awarded funding to advance technical and environmental knowledge to support the development and roll out of slurry pipelines as a sustainable transportation solution in the Nordic region. Following this conditional award, the consortium was informed of certain additional administrative requirements and associated costs, above and beyond the co-funding obligations and partial payback provisions already accounted for in the initial proposal.
After careful evaluation, the consortium concluded that the project's key objectives can be achieved more efficiently, with greater flexibility, and with a lower overall cost and administrative burden independently from the EIT programme, and therefore has collectively decided to withdraw its application. Shares were at 6.19p, up 24%.
