Technology Minerals 48.35% Recyclus Group has secured funding with Watercycle Technologies , the UK Battery Industrialisation Centre and Polaron from the Battery Innovation Programme. The funding will develop 'ReCAM', a pioneering system converting black mass from Li-ion battery waste into high-value cathode active materials for re-use in new batteries in the UK for the first time.
This will reduce the need to export black mass overseas for processing, returning value to the UK supply chain for critical metals, whilst decreasing emissions and reliance on international supply chain, it said. Shares were at 0.090pFulcrum Metals has entered into a £6 million funding package with YA II PN, Ltd, an institutional investor managed by Yorkville Advisors Global, LP.
The funding package enables Fulcrum to advance key objectives associated with the implementation of a stand-alone pilot plant to process material from the company's Teck Hughes and Sylvanite tailings projects and potential project partners material. Shares were at 8pGalantas Gold has filed a technical report containing an updated mineral resource estimate for the Andacollo Oro gold project, Chile.
Andacollo project is not currently owned by Galantas and its interest in the Andacollo project remains subject to completion of a transaction in which it agreed to buy all shares in the project from Sol de Oro Mining from Robert Sedgemore. The current pit-constrained Mineral Resource Estimate update comprises an Indicated Mineral Resource of 102.4 million tonnes at 0.45 grams/tonne gold containing 1.47 million ounces Au and an Inferred mineral resource of 347.9 Mt at 0.41 g/t Au containing 4.54 Moz Au.
Shares were at 36.60pEmpire Metals has completed a major drilling campaign undertaken at the Pitfield project, with initial assays confirming and expanding the high-grade core at the Thomas prospect. Results from the first 88 holes, out of a 712- hole program, continue to substantiate and delineate multiple thick, near-surface intercepts above 7% TiO₂, individual intervals exceeding 10% TiO₂, and a peak grade of 17.83% TiO₂.
These results underscore Pitfield's position as one of the largest and highest-grade titanium systems globally, it said. Shares were at 34.81pCadence Minerals said that DEV Mineração, the owner and operator of the Amapá iron ore project in Brazil, has received the Installation Licence from the State of Amapá Environmental Authority, Secretaria de Estado do Meio Ambiente.
The Installation Licence authorises refurbishment, construction and installation works within its scope at the Amapá site, including those required for the restart of the Azteca Plant and the larger US$1.9B NPV Amapá Project. Shares were at 5.58p. Altona shared a JORC-compliant Mineral Resource Estimate for fluorspar and gallium for the Monte Muambe project. JORC MRE: 3.48Mt at 20.6% CaF2 for 716,000t of CaF2 contained, with an initial base case mine life of 9.5 years at 50,000tpa acid-spar.
For gallium, the MRE came in at 11.73Mt at 54.7 g/t Ga2O3 for 641t Ga2O3 contained. The gallium it says "significantly exceeds expectations" and underpins potential for a large-scale gallium deposit. This is one of very few published gallium MRE worldwide and the first on a carbonatite deposit. Commercial viability is subject to on-going gallium extraction testing in Canada and Poland.
Shares in Altona were at 4.30p.Rainbow Rare Earths is initiating a process to evaluate the potential benefits to the company of carrying out a stock exchange listing in the United States. The decision to evaluate a potential US listing has been driven by the fact that "the US is leading the way globally on the build-out of independent rare earths supply, with major investments across the supply chain," it said.
As well as this it pointed to Rainbow's growing US nexus, including via its partnership with Mosaic, to develop the Uberaba project in Brazil, and the continued support from the US International Development Finance Corporation, which has a $50 million option to provide project equity financing for Phalaborwa. It has, it added, also experienced notable investor demand for Rainbow from North American investors. Shares were at 29p.
