Amaroq, KEFI, First Tin, 80 Mile, Harena, Caledonia Mining
Amaroq has entered into an amended and restated revolving credit facility with Landsbankinn and Gunvor Group . This provides an increased capacity of $70 million in aggregate, replacing its existing $35 million facility and reducing the overall cost of funding.
Gunvor, one of the world's largest physical commodities traders, will offtake gold produced at the Nalunaq mine. Shares were at 97.7p.KEFI Gold and Copper gave an update on the company's activities in Saudi Arabia. KEFI's Saudi Arabian portfolio is held through its share in Gold and Minerals SLA , the joint venture created with Abdul Rahman Saad Al Rashid and Sons .
A total of 16 gold and base metal exploration licences have been secured so far for GMCO, which has also recently formed a joint venture over additional areas with major Australian miner Hancock Prospecting and is formalising another joint venture with Saudi conglomerate AJ Lan Bros. The Jibal Qutman gold project is finalising its DFS for the staged development of its 900,000oz JORC-compliant gold resource.
At Hawiah, current resources for just the main Hawiah deposit stand at 36.2Mt, with estimated contained copper of 297,000t, 745,000oz of gold, 11.6Moz of silver and 310,000t of zinc. First Tin has received an updated mineral resource estimate for its 100%-owned Taronga tin project in NSW, Australia. Measured resources have increased by 7,000t tin to 39.2Mt at 0.13% Sn , and indicated resources increased by 4,400t tin to 46.5Mt at 0.10% Sn .
Combined measured and indicated resources increased by 11,400t tin to 85.7Mt at 0.11% Sn .80 Mile, JV Greenland Energy, has closed a public offering of shares and warrants, raising gross proceeds of approximately US$70 million. Greenland Energy intends to use the net proceeds from the offering to fund exploration and appraisal activities in the Jameson Land Basin, as well as for general corporate purposes.
Under the terms of 80 Mile's JV, GLND is entitled to earn up to a 70% interest by funding 100% of the costs associated with drilling two exploration wells at Jameson. 80 Mile will retain a 30% interest in Jameson through its wholly owned subsidiary, White Flame Energy A/S.Harena Rare Earths has appointed Jack Allardyce as chief financial officer. Jack has been working as the company's interim chief financial officer since January 2026.
Caledonia Mining chairman John Kelly will step down as chairman of the board. July Ndlovu, currently an independent non-executive director, has offered to become the new chairman. All will be decided at the annual general meeting of the shareholders of the company, to be held on May 5.
