A winner of the TV show MasterChef, Stuart Deeley , is closing down his Michelin-recommended restaurant, Smoke , after just three years. Deeley, who won MasterChef: The Professionals, announced on social media that it was time to move on and prepare for the arrival of his third child. Smoke , which received three AA rosettes and a Michelin Guide recommendation, will be replaced by a new restaurant called Kynd , led by David Taylor .
This transition signifies a significant change for the estate, as they continue to evolve. Deeley expressed his gratitude towards his team and the guests who supported Smoke throughout its tenure, but ultimately acknowledged that it was time to move on from Hampton Manor
