Pupils from Ladygrove Primary School in Telford were given the exciting opportunity to design a flag for Taylor Wimpey North Midlands' Hayford Grange development. 9-year-old Kamsi's creative design was chosen as the winner, with prizes awarded to the top three entries.
Pupils at Ladygrove Primary School in Telford have partnered with Taylor Wimpey North Midlands to design a unique development flag for the Hayford Grange project in Lawley. The housebuilder launched a competition encouraging students to create a vibrant and imaginative flag that embodies the spirit of the Hayford Grange development and its surrounding community. Kamsi, a 9-year-old student, emerged victorious with her creative design, securing the top prize.
Grace, also 9 years old, claimed second place, and Freya, 7, took third.To celebrate Kamsi's achievement, she was invited to the Hayford Grange development site to receive her £50 Amazon voucher from Site Manager Lauren Kelly. The newly designed flag was proudly displayed during the presentation. Jo Weichlbauer, Headteacher at Ladygrove Primary School, expressed her gratitude to Taylor Wimpey for the opportunity, stating that the competition allowed students to showcase their creativity and talent.
