Mercedes-AMG’s latest GT variant takes the crown as the quickest AMG ever.
The Mercedes-AMG GT S E Performance variant debuts at the 2024 Chinese Grand Prix.The ’25 Mercedes-AMG GT S E Performance sprints to 60 mph from a standing start in 2.7 seconds, which outpaces the Mercedes-AMG One.The Mercedes-AMG GT S E Performance blends the 4.0-liter turbocharged V8 with the company’s performance hybrid system to make a combined 805 hp.Borrowing some of the spotlights from the 2024 Chinese GP, the team at Mercedes-AMG showed off one of its quickest products ever.
Adding even more slowing force, the GT 63 S E Performance also features regenerative braking to shove electricity back into the 6.1-kWh battery pack. You can also charge that battery with the onboard 3.7 kW charger.Helping you in the corners, the folks at Mercedes-AMG stuffed the AMG Active Ride Control suspension system underneath this AMG GT 63. This system uses the GT’s struts with hydraulics instead of a traditional stabilizer bar to control roll movements.
