Amanda Holden has opened up about Jamie Theakston's absence from the Heart Radio breakfast show after the 53 year old underwent surgery to remove a lesion from his vocal chords
Amanda Holden has spilled the beans on why her co-star Jamie Theakston was missing from Heart Radio today - and it's all thanks to Davina McCall. After a weekend break, fans were greeted by Amanda, 53, and her temporary co-host Jason King aka JK, as Jamie is recuperating at home post-surgery.
"Sometimes it's been on air. Anyway, Davina, who filled in for me while I was working, gave him a big cuddle and she sort of injured him slightly around the throat earlier." She went on to say: "Obviously his voice is his job, so he's at home with his feet up with his two cats, two dogs, his loving wife, and two sons who are less loving than all of them."
