Number of arrests made and several cars seized in crackdown on 'Counterfeit Street'
Police have confirmed a number of arrests were made and other offences recorded after a long day of action on 'Counterfeit Street' - Bury New Road - yesterday . Yesterday the Manchester Evening News spent the day with officers patrolling Bury New Road and the small side roads off this where a multitude of serious crimes are rife.

Six arrests were made on suspicion of driving whilst under the influence of drugs, possession of a bladed article, driving whilst disqualified and possession of class A drugs with 32 stop and searches also carried out.
