Jennifer's dad desperately tried to breathe life into her, but despite his effort she died.
A baby who was born prematurely in her parents’ bed died after her mum was sent home with ‘constipation’, an inquest heard.
In a statement after the inquest concluded, the family said that they were ‘completely heartbroken and will never get over the tragic loss of our daughter’.The doctor who saw Sarah has since left the country and health bosses apologised saying they were ‘deeply sorry’. The court was told Sarah was initially seen by a midwife but had to wait two hours to see a doctor, after saying she was concerned that she was in labour.
The doctor told her a blood test was not necessary as she had one the previous Tuesday which showed no signs of infection.
