Party leader Libby Mettam survived a bid to oust her from the top job less than four months out from the state's election. The ABC understands a vote by the 10 Liberal MPs on whether there should be a separate parliamentary leader and campaign leader failed. In a press conference on Tuesday afternoon, Mr Zempilas refused to reveal who had instigated the polling but said he had "absolutely nothing" to do with it."I haven't courted any votes, haven't rung anybody, haven't been in a party room, and yet somehow the day has transpired as though I was somehow involved in a contest.
