He has one 'professional regret'
Colin Young, known for his appearances on BBC One's Bargain Hunt, has revealed an amusing fact about how he entered the world of auctioneering. Recalling his beginnings, he said: "Simply the first job I saw in the newspaper was for 'manager's assistant' at The Bourne Auction Rooms.
He shared a light-hearted reflection on his career path expressing, with a sense of humour: "My only professional regret I have is that I had the haircut and had pretended to conform."Mr Young's passion for his career is mirrored in his family life as well. His daughter, Kirsty, he proudly said: "Fortunately, at work there is never any free time as there is always something exciting to do next.
As for relaxation, Colin Young doesn't seem to be a fan. He admits: "It generally takes me 15 to 20 minutes to get completely bored with 'free time'," reports the Liverpool Echo. "It's just long enough for me to realise everyone else is clearly doing something more interesting, so I am straight on the phone to find out what.
