A chorus of condolences has rung out from the Irish music community, as iconic musicians, and fans alike remember Sheehan as generous, kind-hearted and talented.
Danny O’Reilly, the singer of Irish rock band The Coronas wrote: “Shocked and saddened. Mark was always so lovely and encouraging to us. Our thoughts are with all The Script family.”“Always a pleasure to chat to. Often bonding over stories about times in the Liberties. One of his hilarious stories I still recount regularly. What a talented and just lovely man. I send huge love to you all this tragic night,” she wrote.
Irish musician Hozier said: “So saddened to hear about this. Thinking of you all and of Mark’s family right now and sending love. Sincere condolences to you all.”
