A man from Blackburn , England, named Gary Thomson has been sentenced to 34 weeks in prison for repeatedly making nuisance calls to the police. The CBO prohibited him from contacting the police unless for a genuine reason or emergency.
However, just six days later, on February 4th, Thomson was arrested for breaching his CBO after making ten calls to the police over a three-day period. He pleaded guilty at Blackburn Magistrates Court on February 5th.
