The BoE is widely expected to leave interest rates unchanged at 5.25% for the fifth time in a row. Investors will look for cues about when the BoE will start reducing interest rates. Rabobank We anticipate that the BoE will hold the rate at 5.25%.

Watering down that language would be seen as tantamount to opening the door to an imminent rate cut, something we doubt the committee wants to do.
