Celtic defender Maik Nawrocki has endeared himself to the Bhoys support by posing with punters in a famous Hoops pub.
The £4million Polish centre-back has endured a difficult campaign with his debut season in Scotland punctuated by a spate of various injuries, but the 23-year-old was fit enough for a spot on the bench in Sunday's 3-0 win at Livingston. And, in the wake of the victory, Nawrocki appeared in high spirits as he was pictured sampling the atmosphere inside the Brazen Head pub in the Gorbals, with the bar's official TikTok posting a clip of his visit, along with the caption: "Having a stressful day at work but then Celtic's No 17 Maik Nawrocki comes in."
Nawrocki isn't the first Hoops star to visit the popular boozer, with Portuguese hero Jota also a regular during his two-year stint in Glasgow, and the winger even made a visit wearing Celtic's iconic 'Bumblebee' jersey just days before scoring the winner against Rangers in last season's Scottish Cup semi-final at Hampden.
Given his sizeable fee, big things were expected of the Polish Under-21 international but it remains to be seen whether or not Nawrocki can muscle his way back into Brendan Rodgers' first-team during the Premiership title run-in, with Cameron Carter-Vickers and Liam Scales set to retain their starting berths in Sunday's mouthwatering top of the table showdown against Rangers at Ibrox.
