A number of roads will be affected for the city's annual parade and events
Several road closures will be put in place to help facilitate the city’s annual Pride celebrations. For the annual March with Pride parade and Pride in Liverpool events to take place safely on Saturday, July 27, road closures will mean no vehicle movement will be possible - except for emergency services. This year there will be several events happening from the Pier Head performances to street parties in the Pride Quarter therefore the main road closures will be in place from 11am until 2:30pm.
LCR Pride Foundation advised all businesses to avoid arranging deliveries between these times as access will not be possible until the road closure is lifted. The annual march will leave St George's Hall around noon and make its way through the city centre before arriving at the Pier Head between 12:45pm and 1pm. It has been advised that roads adjoining these streets will likely be affected by queueing traffic during the closure and a short time after the closure is lifted.
