Eagles finish season at 29-0-1 and bring home their eighth AHSAA championship.

Oak Mountain High School boys’ soccer coach David DiPiazza had just lifted the Alabama High School Athletic Association blue map championship trophy high following a 3-0 win over Auburn on Saturday at John Hunt Park in Huntsville. There were smiles everywhere for the Eagle faithful.

“This is a great group of boys who come from great families, who are in a great community, that are very good at soccer,” DiPiazza said. “These are great kids and brothers. And they just fought for each other all year.” Gabe Capocci scored at 50:35 to give the Eagles all the goals they would need. Aidan Riley scored at 61:25 with an assist from Nate Joiner. Gerardo Rodriguez added his goal at 70:27, assisted by Jovanovich.
