“I called the school who said I wasn’t allowed to pick up my child yet and to stay away, it felt like they were in lockdown.spokesperson said: “Around 1pm on Thursday, 21 March, 2024, police were called to a report of a disturbance within a school in Coatbridge. “Officers attended and a 12-year-old boy who had been assaulted during the disturbance received first aid treatment.
