Coronation Street fans will be left on the edge of their seat next week as DS Swain is framed for Joel Deering's murder - but will the real culprit be exposed?
Coronation Street fans are in for a thrilling ride next week as beloved character DS Lisa Swain, played by Vicky Myers, is framed in the murder of Joel Deering.
Last week's episodes cast suspicion on DS Swain and Carla Connor, played by Alison King. In a shocking twist on Monday night, DC Kit Green, portrayed by Jacob Roberts, emerged as another suspect when a flashback showed him deleting a phone call and swiping a bottle of whiskey from the Rovers bar. In forthcoming scenes, Dee-Dee, unable to bear the guilt any longer, heads to the police station, confessing to Kit that she was the one who made the anonymous phone call after striking Joel with a crowbar.
In a bid to exonerate herself, Lisa retraces her steps, attempting to determine who could have taken the spray, but will this lead her to the killer or is Lisa merely trying to divert attention from herself?
