SUMMIT COUNTY, Ohio - The Cuyahoga Falls husband accused of murdering his wife, has taken his own life, according to Gary Guenther, a spokesperson for the Summit County Medical Examiner’s office.

Guenther said James Rimal’s cause of death was ruled “Anoxic Brain Injury due to hanging.” Guenther added Rimal hung himself at the Summit County Jail and was pronounced dead at Akron City Hospital. Rimal, 33, was indicted on the charges of murder, felonious assault, strangulation, tampering with evidence, domestic violence, and abuse of a corpse for the death of his wife Chandra Maya Poudel-Rimal.According to officers, Rimal called 911 around 9 a.m. and said he woke up and she was gone.
