TO encourage South Cotabato farmers to go organic, the Department of Agrarian Reform is giving away organic fertilizers.

Using chemical fertilizers, however, has been proven to make the soil addictive to such plant growth booster, eventually making the soil barren and useless without agrochemicals in the long run. The organic fertilizer with a total amount of P250,000, was provided to Puti Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Association from Barangay Puti, Norala and Saravia Tri-People Vegetable Farmers Association of Barangay Saravia, Koronadal City.
