He was handed a driving ban
Police chased a drink driver on foot after the registration was reported to them. They spotted the vehicle being driven slowly towards an officer, Nottingham Magistrates' Court heard.
Driver Patrick Clarke, of School Lane, pulled up on the kerb and was clearly under the influence of alcohol, JPs were told on Friday .One officer said Clarke was "visibly drunk" and a bit uneasy on his feet. He smelt strongly of alcohol, and gave a reading of 114 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, over the limit of 35.
