Learner drivers have been issued a warning over the use of popular 'cancellation appointment' apps
The Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency has issued a warning to all learner drivers over the use of popular apps that search for cancelled driving tests.
The DVSA said people who use unofficial apps and websites to book and manage tests might not get important emails about their test - such as if the date of the test has been changed. "You should always keep your driving licence number secure. It could be invaluable to those looking to steal your identity.
