The 89-year-old man was found injured outside Rutherglen Health Centre on Stonelaw Road early this morning and was later confirmed to have died at the scene.

The 89-year-old was discovered outside Rutherglen Health Centre on Stonelaw Road at around 6.40am this morning . He was sadly pronounced dead at the scene by emergency services.

Police Scotland confirmed the death is not being treated as suspicious with enquiries into the incident ongoing.
